Class 2 Field Trip to National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Mumbai
The students of Class 2 had an enriching and engaging field trip to the National Centre for the Performing Arts at Nariman Point.This experience provided a meaningful opportunity for students to witness the beauty and diversity of classical dance forms in a real-world setting. During the visit, students observed a classical dance competition featuring performances of Kathak, Bharatanatyam, and Odissi.

A Day of Fun and Friendship at B J Home
Our PYP Class 4 kids at NMAJS had an amazing time recently visiting B J Home for Children. They spent a lovely afternoon hanging out with the children there, sharing fun number games, making cool crafts like ‘squishies’ and friendship bands, and enjoying some lively playtime with kho-kho, football, and cricket.
What really made the day special was how both groups got to highlight their talents, from singing and dancing to gymnastics and music. It was truly a fun and joyful way to connect and appreciate each other.

Waste Segregation in Action
Our curious Grade 4 learners recently took a field trip to the Dry Waste Collection Centre in Bandra, run by the Aasra Welfare Foundation along with the BMC. They got an up-close look at how Mumbai’s dry waste is sorted into more than 48 categories — including plastic, e-waste, glass, textiles, and multi-layered packaging (MLP). Students walked through primary and secondary segregation areas, learned how different materials are recovered, and even watched machines compress plastic into neat, compact bales ready for recycling.

Class 1 students had a wonderful learning experience during their visit to the Museum of Solutions. Class 4 students of NMAJS had an inspiring field trip to the Nehru Science Centre, exploring the transdisciplinary theme "How the World Works." They delved into energy transformations through engaging experiments like Newton's Cradle, which demonstrated kinetic and potential energy, and the Chain Reaction, which highlighted how energy transfers seamlessly from one form to another.
