 Veronica Sridharan of PYP Class 5 B emerged as the winner of the state's very first UTR Tournament.

Demonstrating exceptional skill, resilience, and determination, Veronica cleared three challenging rounds in a single day to claim the championship title.

The Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) is an internationally recognised rating system used across more than 200 countries, including the United States, Australia, Canada, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and nations across Europe and beyond.

Ahaan Kataruka Excels at the 3rd Smaaash Junior Chess Championship

Ahaan Kataruka of PYP Class 5A delivered an exceptional performance at the 3rd Smaaash Junior Chess Championship, held on 7th June 2026.

Competing in the higher-age U12 Open category, Ahaan showcased remarkable skill, focus, and strategic thinking throughout the tournament. He remained undefeated in all six rounds, finishing with a perfect score of 6/6 to secure 1st Place.

In recognition of his outstanding achievement, Ahaan was awarded a medal, trophy, and several prizes.

NMAJS Students Shine at the South Asia Junior Debate Championship 2026

Kieara Patodi and Naevah Mehta of NMAJS PYP Class 6A shone at the prestigious South Asia Junior Debate Championship 2026 in the Under-13 category.

The championship brought together approximately 40–80 teams and over 120–250 speakers from across South Asia and beyond, making it a highly competitive international platform for young debaters.

Demonstrating exceptional critical thinking, confidence, and collaboration, Kieara and Naevah secured an impressive Overall 3rd Position in the U-13 category after the preliminary rounds.
