Learning with Literacy Expert Dalbir Kaur at EYC
Over the past week, the NMAJS community had the privilege of learning with renowned literacy expert Dalbir Kaur who led two enriching days of professional learning on Balancing the Beam of Reading.
Her sessions—filled with joy, insight, and practical strategies—helped our educators reflect deeply on nurturing confident readers with balance, purpose, and play.
Our parent community also joined an honest and powerful conversation on Growing Strategic Readers: Supporting Literacy in a Digital Age. From bedtime stories to screen-time boundaries, it was a space for shared reflection and meaningful commitments to support reading at home.
