Intergenerational Learning in Action for Class 2B
As part of our ongoing inquiry into Where We Are in Place and Time, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mrs. Anjana Gupta, grandparent of a learner from 2 B, who was joined by her daughter as our guest speakers. Together, they shared meaningful stories from their family’s history, identity, and culture, offering our young learners a glimpse into their rich heritage and traditions.
To make the experience even more tangible, they brought and shared precious heirlooms and artefacts with the learners, allowing them to connect directly with the past and explore history in a hands-on, meaningful way.
Throughout the session, our learners demonstrated their inquirer and knowledgeable attributes as they asked thoughtful questions and connected the stories to their own family histories.
