PYP Athletic Meet 2026 – A Celebration of Spirit, Sportsmanship and Community
The PYP Athletic Meet 2026 was a vibrant celebration of energy, teamwork, and community spirit. The morning unfolded with great enthusiasm as students, parents, grandparents, and teachers gathered in large numbers to cheer on our young athletes.
The event commenced with a spirited class-wise March Past, led confidently by the Student Council. With heads held high and steps in perfect rhythm, our students showcased pride in their houses and a deep sense of belonging. The Sports Captain then administered the oath, reminding everyone of the true essence of sport — fairness, respect, determination, and teamwork.
The track came alive with exciting student races across grades. Our youngest learners in Classes 1 and 2 delighted everyone with their joyful novelty races, bringing smiles and laughter to the field. For Classes 3, 4, and 5, the relays were a highlight — fast-paced, competitive, and a true test of collaboration and perseverance.
The ever-popular Tug of War generated tremendous excitement, with students displaying grit, strength, and unity as they pulled together for their teams.
Adding to the festive atmosphere were the much-awaited races for parents, grandparents, and teachers. Their enthusiastic participation not only entertained but also reinforced the spirit of community that defines our school. The strong turnout of families was heartening and reflected the partnership between home and school that we deeply value.
The PYP Athletic Meet was not just about winning medals, but about courage, resilience, participation, and joy. It was a morning that celebrated every child’s effort and reminded us that true success lies in giving one’s best and supporting one another.
