Kieara Patodi of MYP Class 7A used her summer break to take meaningful action towards promoting responsible use of technology and digital wellbeing among children.
Kieara joined Homo Sapiens 2.0, a student-led organisation working to raise awareness about digital addiction and responsible technology use. She subsequently took charge of the organisation's Madhya Pradesh chapter and independently organised an awareness event attended by around 100 children.
To facilitate an informed conversation, Kieara brought together a panel comprising a cybersecurity police officer, a senior police officer, a doctor and a child psychologist. The experts engaged with the children on topics including digital dependency, online safety and developing healthier technology habits.
