The Echoes of Culture celebration brought together the joy of language, expression, and cultural pride across the PYP section. The morning was a vibrant showcase of diversity, creativity, and confidence, as students took to the stage to celebrate the many voices that make our community unique.

Celebrating Stories: Honoring Anthony Browne & Roald Dahl

On 11th and 13th September, NMAJS students joyfully celebrated the birthdays of two beloved authors—Anthony Browne and Roald Dahl. Through read-aloud sessions in the library, the children explored the fascinating life journeys of these authors and reflected on their favourite books and characters.

NMAJS Class 5 Students Lead the Way in the 2025 PYP Exhibition

The PYP Exhibition (PYPX) at NMAJS culminated on June 13, 2025, as a vibrant celebration of inquiry, agency, and action. Our Class 5 students showcased the culmination of their learning journeys through a compelling exploration of the transdisciplinary theme How We Express Ourselves. Rooted in student choice and voice, each group identified a local issue they felt deeply passionate about—ranging from urban waste management and mental health awareness to animal welfare and sustainable fashion.

Celebrating Literacy

Our PYP students gathered in cosy little circles at the Library for a special Campfire Reading session. Each class shared their thoughts on the books they’d been reading, had some great peer discussions, and teamed up to talk about their biggest takeaways. The session wrapped up with lively group presentations, where students shared what they learned and what they loved most about their reading adventures.

Acrostics of Affection

In a heartwarming celebration of Mother's Day, the students of Class 1B poured their love and gratitude into beautiful acrostic poems — each one inspired by the most special word of all: MOTHER.

Their poems reflected the many qualities that make mothers so extraordinary:
M – Magical
O – Original
T – Thoughtful
H – Helpful
E – Energetic
R – Radiant
