Celebrating Young Writers at NMAJS

“Good writing is clear thinking made visible.” – Bill Wheeler

Parents of Classes 1 to 5 were invited to a Learning Walk on Writing, through the Primary Years Programme at NMAJS—and what a wonderful experience it was! This interactive walk gave parents an inside look at what writing looks like in our classrooms—from understanding the purpose behind each piece, to exploring different genres and elements, and seeing how core writing traits are nurtured at every stage.

On a different day through the week, each grade level showcased meaningful, age-appropriate work that brought the writing process to life—brainstorming, drafting, revising, editing, and publishing. Parents got to see first-hand how our students are growing into happy, confident, and impactful writers, expressing their ideas in creative and thoughtful ways.

A big shout-out to our amazing PYP team for bringing this celebration of student voice and creativity to life and for making the learning walk both meaningful and memorable!
