The Strategic Plan 2023-28 provides a roadmap towards achieving the school’s guiding statements. As the educational landscape evolves, influenced and impacted by internal factors and the external environment, a school must have well-thought-out actions to be on a continuum of improvement and innovation.

5 Strategic Directions

The Strategic Plan has Culture, Teaching and Learning, Well-Being, Environment, and Partnerships as its five Strategic Directions. For each of the Strategic Directions, the Strategic Plan presents the objectives, strategies, indicators of success, people responsible, and the resources required.

Culture

‘Culture’ is at the heart of an institution's development. We focus on creating a positive and vibrant culture that nurtures every individual’s competencies and areas of passion and empowers them to be the best versions of themselves. This optimises the achievement of organisational objectives.

teaching and learning

‘Teaching and Learning’ focuses on learning through inquiry, conceptual understanding, differentiated instruction, and integration of technology. Thus, our pedagogy is aligned to optimise the several dimensions of our curriculum model, equip students with 21st-century skills, and leverage the school’s foundational principles and global best practices.

well being

‘Well-being’ signifies how critical the overall welfare and satisfaction of students, teachers and administrative staff is to bring out the best in every individual for their individual development and well-being, as well as for collective institutional progress.

Environment

‘Environment’ represents how multiple layers of facilities and resources, like physical and technology infrastructure, and human and financial resources, work synergistically and optimally to achieve the school’s goals.

Partnership

‘Partnerships’ emphasise how students can benefit by collaborating with multiple stakeholders in the school community, including parents and alumni, and by building a network of individuals and institutions to leverage their expertise, providing students with diverse learning opportunities and exposure.
