Class II Trip ‘Wellness Wonders’

Our Class II learners embarked on an exciting field trip to The Club as part of their Unit of Inquiry on ‘Health and Well-being’ under the 'Who We Are' theme. The experience was a unique blend of physical activity, mindfulness, and education on a healthy lifestyle, aiming to reinforce the importance of balanced nutrition. The learners participated in various games, designed not only for fun but also to encourage teamwork, coordination, and physical fitness.

To understand the concept of mindfulness, the learners practiced mindfulness techniques that helped them focus on breathing, self-awareness, and relaxation.

Through an informative session on balanced nutrition. The students engaged with a professional nutritionist, who shared valuable insights on the essential components of a balanced diet, how to make healthier choices in their daily meals, and how food impacts our body and mind. They asked questions, deepening their understanding of nutrition and how it relates to their health.

This field trip was an excellent way to connect classroom learning with real-world experiences. The combination of physical activity, mindfulness, and nutrition provided a holistic view of what it means to live a balanced, healthy life.
