The competition kicked off with a preliminary round that included every student from these classes. After a close contest, the top scorers were chosen to represent their houses in the finals.

Book Fair 2025

Our Book Exhibition provided a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together and celebrate the joy of reading and the wonder of books. The event took place alongside the Sports Day, adding an extra dose of excitement.

Growing Curious Minds at NMAJS

Our School Student Care and Counseling Team hosted a wonderful PYP parent workshop on Nurturing Curiosity in Young Children on March 26, 2025.

The session explored how curiosity plays a vital role in a child’s cognitive, social, and emotional development—and how parents can support it at every stage.

Key takeaways included:
 How curiosity develops over time
Valuing children’s questions
Practical tips for responding and encouraging deeper thinking

Class 1B’s Easter Journey

The usual chocolate eggs and bunnies were put on hold during our thoughtful and meaningful Class 1B Easter and Good Friday celebrations.

Our enthusiastic and reflective learners read the book My Easter and discovered the many ways Easter is celebrated globally. Inspired by the themes of sacrifice and giving, the students of Class 1 took time to think deeply about what they could give up to lead healthier, happier lives.

When Young Minds Unite, Advocacy Becomes Action

Over the course of three vibrant weeks, our Class 1 PYP students and Class 6 MYP learners came together with a shared mission: to advocate for the sustainable use of water — a vital resource for all living things.

This cross-grade collaboration went far beyond creating posters. It was about making meaning — connecting classroom learning to real-world challenges and empowering students of different ages to engage in authentic, student-led action.

Class 7 students as Language Ambassadors

The Class 7 students provided students of PYP Class 5 an exciting peek into the world of MYP Language Acquisition in French, Hindi, and Spanish. Together they explored themes such as Travel, Greetings, and Animal names through an engaging, fun, and interactive session. This collaborative experience boosted their communication skills, encouraged teamwork, and brought learning to life!

When Movement Met Meaning

As part of the Class 6 Physical and Health Education unit on Aesthetic Movement, the teachers designed an inquiry-led learning experience focused on skill acquisition through dance. Students explored coordination, body control, fluency, and musical rhythm by choreographing routines to selected parts of the songs “Waka Waka” and “I Gotta Feeling.”

Burst of Colour and Happiness

Our young stars from different classes of the NMAJS Primary school came together to spread the festive spirit of HOLI, with storytelling, dance, and music—making it a day to remember!

The celebration kicked off with an engaging narration of the legendary tale of Prahlad and Holika. Our little storytellers brought history to life, reminding all about the triumph of good over evil. Their expressions and confidence were truly praiseworthy.
