Just as Holi signifies the arrival of spring, with joyful celebrations, our PYP Class 1 B learners recently celebrated the vibrant connections in their lives. In a heartwarming activity, students reflected on special people who bring joy to their days.
On February 21st, 2025, students from the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP) at NMAJS came together to celebrate International Mother Language Day. The event was a vibrant and interactive celebration of linguistic diversity, fostering an inclusive atmosphere for learners from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
The NMAJS students commemorated Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti on 20th February 2025 with a vibrant and insightful presentation that paid tribute to the great Maratha leader. The event aimed to honour Shivaji Maharaj's immense contributions to Maharashtra and instill a sense of pride and admiration for his legacy among our young learners.
Class 4 students of NMAJS had an inspiring field trip to the Nehru Science Centre, exploring the transdisciplinary theme "How the World Works." They delved into energy transformations through engaging experiments like Newton's Cradle, which demonstrated kinetic and potential energy, and the Chain Reaction, which highlighted how energy transfers seamlessly from one form to another. They also explored exhibits showcasing the different forms of energy—heat, light, sound, and mechanical energy.
DAIS and NMAJS FTC robotics teams have once again demonstrated exceptional prowess at the FTC National Championships, achieving record-breaking success and securing top honours. Team Eureka and Team Matrix made history by setting a new FTC world record with an astounding score of 480 points, surpassing the previous record of 452.

Our school organized a narrative writing workshop on 13th February. Conducted by Ms. Ambika Vora Nagino, a DAIS alumni and the esteemed author of the critically acclaimed novel 'Spin of Fate', the immersive workshop on narrative writing was an engaging experience that provided deep insights into the world of fiction through various activities.
NMAJS Class 1 students participated in an engaging session with architect parent Mr Raja, who shared fascinating insights into how environmental factors shape building design globally. The interactive presentation focused on how architects and interior designers adapt designs to local environments, incorporating strategies to address natural disasters. Students also learned about the significance of sustainable home construction in protecting the environment.
