NMAJS & DAIS Students Excel at ICYD Finals at Oxford Union

Saketaram Manikantan of MYP Class 8A and Samar Sinha of Class 8D represented Team India at the International Competition for Young Debaters (ICYD) Finals Day, held at the prestigious Oxford Union, UK, on 2 May 2026.

Competing against top young debaters from around the world, the team progressed to the Semi-Finals, delivering a strong and consistent performance throughout the competition.

Tanishi Mazumder of MYP Class 8 A delivered an impressive performance at the Otters Club, securing a strong medal tally across individual and team events.

She achieved a total of five medals: 

  • Gold – 100m Breaststroke
  • Gold – 4x50m Medley Relay
  • Silver – 4x50m Freestyle Relay
  • Bronze – 200m Freestyle
  • Bronze – 200m Individual Medley  

Nitsaa Durlabhji Wins 2 Gold and 1 Silver in Taekwondo

Nitsaa Durlabhji of EYC UKG B delivered a commendable performance at the 15th Kyorugi and 7th Poomsae Mumbai District Taekwondo Championships 2026–2027, competing in the Under-6 category.

Demonstrating confidence, focus, and enthusiasm, Nitsaa secured an impressive total of three medals:

  • Gold – Poomsae
  • Gold – Pair Poomsae

Silver – Kyorugi

Class 2 Field Trip to National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Mumbai

The students of Class 2 had an enriching and engaging field trip to the National Centre for the Performing Arts at Nariman Point.This experience provided a meaningful opportunity for students to witness the beauty and diversity of classical dance forms in a real-world setting. During the visit, students observed a classical dance competition featuring performances of Kathak, Bharatanatyam, and Odissi.
