Voices in Verse: A Celebration of Expression at the English Elocution Competition
The Primary School came alive with rhythm, rhyme, and rich expression at this year’s English Elocution Competition, a much-awaited event that gave our young learners a platform to let their voices soar. Divided into two categories—Classes 1 & 2, and Classes 3, 4 & 5—the competition brought together a delightful medley of poems that ranged from the whimsical to the wise.

NMAJS Class 5 Students Lead the Way in the 2025 PYP Exhibition
The PYP Exhibition (PYPX) at NMAJS culminated on June 13, 2025, as a vibrant celebration of inquiry, agency, and action. Our Class 5 students showcased the culmination of their learning journeys through a compelling exploration of the transdisciplinary theme How We Express Ourselves. Rooted in student choice and voice, each group identified a local issue they felt deeply passionate about—ranging from urban waste management and mental health awareness to animal welfare and sustainable fashion.

A Day of Fun and Friendship at B J Home
Our PYP Class 4 kids at NMAJS had an amazing time recently visiting B J Home for Children. They spent a lovely afternoon hanging out with the children there, sharing fun number games, making cool crafts like ‘squishies’ and friendship bands, and enjoying some lively playtime with kho-kho, football, and cricket.
What really made the day special was how both groups got to highlight their talents, from singing and dancing to gymnastics and music. It was truly a fun and joyful way to connect and appreciate each other.

Interhouse Instrumental Competition
The first NMAJS and DAIS Interhouse Instrumental Music Competition hit all the right notes in a thrilling showdown of rhythm, harmony, and house pride! With instruments in hand and passion in their hearts, students from Grades 6 to 8 and Grades 9 to 11 lit up the stage, turning the spotlight into a celebration of raw musical talent.

Celebrating Literacy
Our PYP students gathered in cosy little circles at the Library for a special Campfire Reading session. Each class shared their thoughts on the books they’d been reading, had some great peer discussions, and teamed up to talk about their biggest takeaways. The session wrapped up with lively group presentations, where students shared what they learned and what they loved most about their reading adventures.

Threads of Wonder
Our UKG learners had a wonderful time visiting the Swadesh Exhibition at NMACC. They watched traditional weavers at work and were amazed by how threads came together to make beautiful patterns. Their curious questions and wide-eyed wonder made the visit even more special. One of the highlights was a fun block printing activity, where the children got to create their own colourful art on paper. It was messy, creative, and so much fun! It gave them a new love for handmade things.

Interhouse Art Competition MYP
With majestic brushstrokes and bold ideas, our students showcased incredible creativity and heart in this year’s art competition!
Grades 6–8 explored sustainability and selflessness, reminding us that protecting our planet starts with caring for each other.
Grades 9–11 brought the theme "Small actions, big impact" to life, proving that even the smallest effort can spark meaningful change with talent, thoughtfulness, and passion in every piece!
