Celebrating the Legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj

Our learners recently participated in engaging storytelling sessions and discussions focused on the life and legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. These conversations allowed them to delve into his remarkable bravery, inspiring leadership, and visionary ideals for Swaraj.

Celebrating Mother Language Day

From our earliest years, languages play a crucial role in shaping our identity, culture, and cognitive development. Speaking and hearing multiple languages from a young age strengthens brain connections, enhances problem-solving skills, and fosters empathy. Our mother tongue connects us to our heritage, while exposure to diverse languages broadens our perspectives and deepens our cultural understanding.

Water Play Fun and Learning at EYC!

Our youngest learners at the NMAJS-EYC have been diving into the wonderful world of Water Play, a fantastic and fun way to develop a multitude of key skills.

More than just fun in the water, our Water Play activities are carefully designed to support holistic development:

World Wildlife Day Celebrations

Our young learners at NMAJS Early Years came together to celebrate World Wildlife Day, learning about the importance of protecting animals and their natural habitats. They discovered how trees provide shelter to many birds and animals and why we must care for our environment by preserving green spaces.

Parents at Partners in Learning

Our UKG learners had an engaging session exploring the concepts of migration and hibernation with our expert visitors!

Migration: Through a wildlife video and an interactive game, learners pretended to be flamingos migrating from Africa to India.

Hibernation: A bear puppet story time helped learners understand bear behaviour. To immerse themselves in the experience, they ate berries like bears and cosied up to soft music, simulating the hibernation process, wearing their pyjamas.

HOLI HAI

Our little learners soaked in the vibrant Holi vibes with a day full of colours, stories, and joy! They listened to the story behind Holi, created beautiful rangolis, and had a blast playing Phoolon ki Holi—celebrating with petals instead of colours!

Laughter, learning, and love filled the air as they explored this festival of togetherness. Wishing everyone a Holi as bright and colourful as their smiles!

Our Little Learners Celebrate Gudi Padwa!

At NMAJS EYC, we welcomed the new year with joy and tradition! Our little learners celebrated Gudi Padwa by listening to the story behind this vibrant festival and creating their own colourful gudis.
Through storytelling and hands-on experiences, our children connected with the cultural roots of this Maharashtrian festival, ushering in prosperity, happiness, and new beginnings.

Joyful Eid Celebrations with Our Little Learners

Our learning floor was filled with joy, curiosity, and celebration as our little learners explored Eid through thoughtfully designed centres and hands-on engagements.

From listening to heartwarming stories about kindness and togetherness to creating beautiful Eid cards and intricate patterns inspired by henna designs, each moment was filled with wonder and meaning.

Movement, Rhythm, and Imagination with Zip Zap at EYC

At NMAJS EYC, the incredible Zip Zap team joined us for a joyful storytelling experience, where stories came alive through movement, rhythm, and imagination!

From stretching like trees to bouncing like balls of energy, our young learners explored narratives with their bodies and voices. It wasn’t just storytelling—it was story living!

Learning About Well-being with Erin Hoover

At EYC, we believe that the well-being of our community, both learners and adults, is the foundation of meaningful growth

We were honoured to host Erin Hoover for two enriching sessions. She led a thoughtful exploration into mindfulness and well-being with our educators, offering practices that nurture presence and balance in the classroom.
