Exploring Global Traditions: A Halloween to Remember!

Our Class 1 and Class 2 learners were excited to celebrate Halloween on Friday, 31st October.
As internationally minded learners, they explored this global celebration by dressing up in spooky, fun, and creative costumes. The variety of costumes — from friendly witches, ghosts, and superheroes to storybook characters and imaginative creations — reflected their creativity and enthusiasm. Through this experience, they learned about the origins and traditions of Halloween, understanding how people across the world use costumes and symbols to express imagination and celebrate cultural festivities.
To add to the excitement, our learners visited the cafeteria to watch a pumpkin carving demonstration by the chef and later participated in an assembly where they proudly showcased their costumes in a lively fashion show. Their confident walks, cheerful smiles, and expressive gestures brought the stage to life and filled the room with applause and laughter.
It was a wonderful way to enhance their learning experience and immerse themselves in the festive spirit — a day filled with laughter, creativity, curiosity, and spooky fun!

Exploring the World of Art with Mrs. Foram Kapoor

“Art is not only about painting; it is about the search for truth.” – S. H. Raza

Our UKG learners had a truly inspiring morning with Mrs. Foram Kapoor, an art collector who visited the NMAJS-Early Years Campus to share her passion for art and storytelling through paintings.

Mrs. Kapoor introduced the children to the beautiful works of the renowned artist S. H. Raza, helping them discover how he expressed his thoughts and emotions through vibrant colours, shapes, and patterns. She spoke about what inspired Raza to become an artist and how his surroundings, memories, and imagination influenced his work.

This experience beautifully connected to our ongoing Unit of Inquiry – How We Express Ourselves, where learners have been exploring how artists find inspiration in the world around them. The session sparked wonderful conversations about colours, feelings, and creative expression — leaving our little artists excited to find their own inspiration!
